Meet Our Clinicians
Shayne Going, PT
Shayne is the Clinic Manager for Lawrence General’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at the Andover Medical Center. He earned his BS in Physical Therapy from the University of New England 1988 and later earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UNE. He completed both the residency and fellowship programs in 2001 and 2002 at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Shayne also completed a myofascial and soft tissue mobilization internship in Wolfenbuttel, Germany. He has over 30 years experience as a physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports medicine.
He is a certified orthopedic manual therapist, specializes in manual treatment for the spine and peripheral joints and provides appropriate therapeutic exercise prescription.. He has worked with a large number of high school, college and professional athletes – the most recent being the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Leslie Burte, PT
Leslie is a 1982 graduate from University of Connecticut. She worked most recently for Northeast Rehabilitation for over 20 years in North Andover, MA. Leslie focuses on treatment for temporomandibular joint dysfunction dysfunction, spinal dysfunction, and general orthopedics. She has a passion for mobilization, taping, muscle energy and exercise to achieve patient goals.
Laura Barron, PT, DPT
Laura received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. She is also a certified athletic trainer and has worked with a variety of athletes at the high school and collegiate levels. Laura treats a wide range of specialty areas including orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, spinal conditions, vestibular, post-concussion, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Laura believes in creating individualized treatment plans that combine manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Casey Hoatson MS, OTR/L, CHT
Casey has been working as a hand therapist since 2011 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a MS in Occupational Therapy. She continued her education at Drexel University and earned designation as a certified hand therapist in 2016.
