Our partnership with the Andover/North Andover YMCA enables Lawrence General’s outpatient rehabilitation team to transition patients to continued health and wellness upon discharge. Our location at the Andover/North Andover YMCA can be found in the lower, right side of the main building’s new expansion. There is designated parking for Lawrence General patients just outside of our private entrance. Remember, a physician’s order is required for all treatment.

Meet Our Clinicians
Liz Della Grotte, PT, DPT
Liz is Lawrence General’s clinic manager for the Andover/North Andover YMCA location. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford, where she also graduated with a BS in Health Sciences and a minor in psychology. Liz has a passion for orthopedic injury, sports medicine, pediatrics, and vestibular rehabilitation. She believes in an individualized treatment approach, which includes manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to help patients achieve their goals.
Carole Gillis, PT, DPT
Carole graduated from Northeastern University in 1981 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She worked in Sweden as a physical therapist for 20 years. Carole returned to the United States and received her DPT from Northeastern University in 2011. Carole participates in the Female Athletic Conference annually at Boston Children’s Hospital and enjoys working with athletes of all ages.
Katy Salka, PT, DPT
Katy graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2014 where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She earned a BA in psycho biology at Wheaton College. Katy has a passion for orthopedic injury, sports medicine, and vestibular rehabilitation. Katy implements a variety of manual techniques in her treatment and incorporates patient goals into a well-rounded, individualized treatment plan. Katy is certified in dry needling and spinal mobilization/manipulation. She has training in taping techniques, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and the McKenzie Technique for the lumbar spine.
Rebecca Torres, PTA, BS
Becky has been a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Lawrence General since October 2015. She received her Associates Degree as a PTA in January 2015 from the Pima Medical Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Becky also holds a BS in Movement Science from Westfield State University. She enjoys treating various orthopedic conditions, and is an aquatic therapist in our pool program four days per week.
