Arthur J Gonsalves, MD (Chip) grew up in the Merrimack Valley. The first in his family to attend college, he attended Tufts University after graduating Phillips Academy. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in electrical engineering before going on to medical school at Tufts University. He graduated Tufts University School of Medicine, and then spent seven years in general and vascular surgery training at Tufts Medical Center and University of South Florida.

He returned to begin practice as a vascular surgeon in the Merrimack Valley in 1998. He has performed more than 5,000 vascular procedures. Click here for his complete medical background.

Gary Pare’, MD was born and raised in West Warwick, Rhode Island. He attended Dartmouth College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Subsequently, he attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed all of his surgical training at New England Medical Center, Tufts University. During his training he also completed a Master of Science Degree in Vascular Medicine and Technology in London, England.

Dr. Pare’ is board certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery and is a registered vascular technologist for ultrasound. Since he completed his training he has worked in the Merrimack Valley with Dr. Arthur Gonsalves and has devoted his practice to vascular surgery. Click here for his complete medical background.

Ryan Messiner, MD After attending the University of Florida and obtaining a B.S. in Nutrition, Dr. Messiner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine making the Chancellor’s list. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida and subsequently finished his training in vascular surgery at Penn State University.

Dr. Messiner has over 10 years’ experience in vascular surgery which includes working in private practice and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Florida.
